Sponsorship Sales Executive
A3C Festival & Conference is currently seeking a Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our team.
This candidate will work with marketing agencies, advertisers and brands to identify partnership opportunities and sell integrated marketing programs leveraging our unique brand properties and music tie-ins.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of A3C's history, consumer demographics, value propositions, mission, assets and experiences
- Build, refine, updated, and maintain a pipeline of prospects by proactively researching and identifying new opportunities including new business development, up-selling, and cross-selling current accounts
- Collaborating with A3C leadership in identifying and contacting decision makers and target clients
- Drive new sponsorship revenue growth
- Sell sponsorships via in-person meetings, telephone calls and written communications
- Execute and improve sales strategies to maximize sales results and exceed sales goals
- Identify client needs, understand marketing objectives, and develop professional relationships with clients through effective questioning and relationship-building techniques
- Maintain strong follow through and extensive client communication on existing business
- Manage pipeline using CRM tools. Input, track and continually update sales activity into a CRM tool
- Analyze sales reports to track current progress and make historical comparisons
- Craft sales presentations that creatively and distinctly differentiate and communicate unique assets to targeted prospects
- Assist in the creation of dynamic sales presentations that creatively and distinctively differentiate A3C’s media/event assets to targeted prospects
- Create compelling presentations
- Draft agreements
- Work with partnership team, production and programming to decide what A3C should offer prospective partners
- Schedule virtual and face-to-face meetings with potential and existing clients in order to build robust and meaningful client relationships
- Meet or exceed revenue goals on a monthly basis
- Create weekly and monthly sales reports and communicate clear reporting to senior management and executives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Solid relationships with senior level marketing executives
- A minimum of 3-5 years of sponsorship sales experience
- A track record of closing sponsorships and integrated marketing programs
- A strong network of business contacts, particularly in the enterprise space, and the ability to leverage those contacts to facilitate partnership opportunities
- Experience, creating, bundling, selling, and negotiating sponsorship packages
- Decisive and action-oriented
- Experience with CRM entry, reporting and management
- Ability to envision, define, and execute partnership opportunities
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills in building relationships
- Knowledge and understanding of the music, tech, entertainment, conference and festival industry
- Attend company events, client events, and prospective business functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite products
- Willingness to embrace core values of A3C’s company culture, including professionalism, integrity, tact, and a positive attitude
- An ambitious self-starter with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with excellent oral and written communication skills
