Comprised of the three members, Sean Price, Black Milk, and Guilty Simpson, Random Axe is the newest group coming out of Duck Down Records. The group is currently putting the finishing touches on their self-titled collaborative project. When speaking on himself and his group members, Guilty Simpson stated, “it’s a union of familes from two different cities (Detroit to Brooklyn)….It’s two familes merging to make incredible Hip Hop records.”
Black Milk, who will being doing the production for the whole album and already has 3 LPs under his belt, commented that the group, “represents the new formula for future hip hop albums,… Guilty Simpson, Sean P, and I have individual vibes, delivery, flow and voices, but the chemistry works.” Sean Price, who was introduced to member Guilty Simpson’s music while on tour with Special Teams, and made no hesitation to pull in Black Milk for the production, said, “I wanted to do an entire LP because I need to do different things. And this is just the first project of me going outside my solo reach.”
With their first album dropping June 14th, the super group is one of the most anticipated new additions to hip hop.

Random Axe is definitely ordained in hip-hop. Dey speak 2da streets and the Gods at da same time. Lettin’ off da gas so you can here how they manuver their lyrical. Funny thing is, just heard Sean Price’s album a week before A3C. As much a beast live as he is onstage. Bet dat. Dope.
