New Era at A3C 2011:
The global leader in cap design returned for its second year to A3C 2011 with an activation that built upon what we started last year. Three days worth of Artist Meet & Greets and Media took place at their local Atlanta New Era Flagship store with some of A3C’s top billing artists. New Era created custom 5950 hats for A3C which were for sale in the A3C Mall and gifted to select A3C Artists. During the in-store on Thursday, a proclamation from Councilman Kwanza Hall on behalf of the City of Atlanta was delivered acknowledging A3C’s impact as a cultural summit and an economic generator for the city as well as the state.

A3C 2011 was a success from every angle with over 15,000 attendees participating October 6-8th. With stages presented by Jagermeister, iHipHop Distribution, Creative Loafing, Perfect Attendance and A3C Pro Audio, attendees enjoyed 12 different industry panels, several pro audio equipment and software demos, the Needle 2 the Record DJ Battle presented by Traktor, the iStandard Producer Showcase presented by Native Instruments and SkullCandy, the Enter the Cypher Freestyle Exhibition presented by Sarah West and Sennheiser and the Deuces Wild 45′s Edition Breakdance Competition presented by B-Girl South.
Live performances were nearly non-stop with well-attended showcases presented by LRG, Jamla, Stones Throw, Okay Player, HipHopDX, AllHipHop, DJBooth, Red Bull, KevinNottingham.com, The Smoking Section, Earmilk, Good Music All Day, Dirty Glove Bastard, The Bloom Effect, World Hip Hop Market and of course A3C.
A3C 2011 artists included Big Daddy Kane, M.O.P., 9th Wonder, Big KRIT, Dead Prez, Random Axe, Murs, Freeway, Freddie Gibbs, Pill, XV, Jean Grae, Saigon, Rapper Big Pooh, Homeboy Sandman, Smoke DZA, Elzhi and 100′s more (full line-up here).
