If you’re not familiar with Speakeasy Promotions, then you must be hiding under a rock. These guys consistently put on some of the best ATL hip-hop shows, and their featured showcases (this one is number nine) never disappoint. Point in case? Opio (yes, THAT Opio of Heiro/Souls of Mischief fame) will be headlining their latest installation on Saturday June 19th @ Apache Cafe in Atlanta, GA. The bill is also packed with ATL underground heavyweights.

To be honest, I had never heard anything by the artists playing on Saturday except for The Nice Guise. After listening to the mixtape, I really liked everything from Opio…especially “To the people” and “What happens.” Can’t wait! Saturday is going to be dope f’sho!

I haven’t heard of Opio before, but I’ve met the Nice Guise and Clan Destined at past shows. I’d like to be there to show support for them, the apache cafe (because ive performed there too), and fort knox. Knox holds it DOWN, (lol). And who doesn’t like graffiti?
