Free Tickets – Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek w/ Kidz in the Hall 6.14

TALIB

There are a handful of summer shows that will make the A3C must see list and this one is right at the top of that list. With the duo that brought us Reflection Eternal warmed up by A3C vets Kidz in the Hall taking place on the stage where A3C was born 6 years ago, you know things are going to be SERIOUS. This show in that room should shake the rafters y’all. We’ve got two pairs of tickets, we’ll draw winners at random. To enter please leave a comment below with your favorite Rawkus (since both Reflection Eternal and Kidz shared a home there back in the day) release. Please include your government name so we can have The Loft hold your tickets for you under your name.

Hands down…Mos Def’s “Black on Both Sides” is a hip hop must-have and all-time classic for every hip hop head, especially emcees. Every song is a lesson and a jam at the same time. Soundbombing II and Black Star come as a very close second. Rawkus was classic era!
