My favorite Nas joint is “The World Is Yours”. The song is classic hip-hop & is optimistic about life.
Not sure if I can say I have 1 favorite, but One Mic stands out. Hip Hop is Dead, and Fried Chicken with Busta Rhymes also come to mind…
My Favorite Nas Jam is “One Love”. Produced by Q Tip….

It Ain’t Hard To Tell
Its my bornday on the 22nd kid! I woke up early on my borndate im 20 its a blessing the essence of adolescence leaves my body now im freshin. Lifes a b@#$h and then you die. Also Star Wars. “Jehovah witness, him and his codefendants I eat em like lucky charms, with 2% lofat milk, 5% problack built.Classic. That would be a great gift!
Halftime
It’s gotta be The World Is Yours. That’s a pillar of hip-hop. That song made a white kid from the suburbs believe in the power of raps and boom baps.
Thief’s Theme
NY State of Mind was the joint!
’2nd childhood’ has to be one of the most laid back pimp-ass songs ever. “Who else could it be? N-A-S NAS-NAS-NAS”
BLACK GIRL LOST, IT’S TIME FOR A REMIX. 1 LOVE
The World is yours!!!! great song Meredith L. Harrell
made you look – Angela Klepach
As cliche as it may sound, “If I Ruled the World.”
NO IDEAS ORIGINAL….
It Ain’t Hard to Tell
The song that started it all. Main Source “Live at the barbeque”. His verse was sick.
[...] Free Tickets – Nas & Damian Marley at The Tabernacle | A3C Hip Hop … [...]
The World Is Yours. The song made me feel that it was mine!
“Undying Love”
Ismael AbduSalaam
So many to name… It aint hard to tell might take the cake. One Mic is up there too tho.
street dreams
“I Gave You Power” was pretty genius. There aren’t many storytelling tracks like that anymore.
The whole God’s Son album is my favorite album of his and my favorite tracks are “I Know I Can” and “Revolutionary Warfare” My government is James Huston and I’d love to represent the Atl underground scene at this concert. If u pick me I will write an indepth review free of charge. I see u Ismael AbduSalaam, Hotep.
“Rewind”
Ether – I had just moved to America, there was crazy buzz surrounding it. Never heard of Nas before and barely listened to hip-hop but he made me curious about him. I fell in love with him then and haven’t stopped.
My favorite Nas song is The Message.
“Blaze a 50″, less understated than his other work, but I am big fan of the lost tapes compilation…
“no ideas original”
Sly Fox or Made You Look
I have always liked One Mic
ronald luellen.
pussy kills!!!!!!!
Life’s a BItch!!!!
My Favorite Song for Nas is Ether. It displayed his lyrical genius and he was the only cat at that time to smash Jay Z on a track. Jaz z is one of the greatest too. Nas to me expressed himself from the soul.
“It ain’t hard to tell” my alltime fav! Well almost all of Nas’ joints are my fav’s. I’ll pick that ONE for now tho.
My favorite Nas joint would have to be “One Mic”. The way the individual verses just “build up” slowly and then blow up at the end is just phenomenal!!!
Hip Hop is dead was my favorite,Nas one of the illest rapper on deck,I have to see him perform so get me my free tickets.
Favorite Nas Joint is Memory Lane….
Favorite Nas song is “Get Down” from the CD God’s Son :-)
Ether…nuff said.
My favorite Nas jawn is a tie between “Nas Is Like” and “It Ain’t Hard To Tell”
My absolute favorite is “One Mic”!
There are so many others; Ether, Just A Moment, Street Dreams, Hey Nas, Made You Look, Live Now, and If Ruled the World.
The World Is Yours (produced by Pete Rock)
Fav NAS joint has to be “It Ain’t Hard to Tell” … I excel then prevail.
Favorite song is either one mic, or ether
I’m gonna be a maverick and say “Doo Rags” – although “The World Is Yours” is a common fav, and I love it to death!
January 2003. New York, New York. Downstairs at Nells Nightclub. “Made You Look” was on rotation and the crowd went BANANAS! The DJ played it three times in a row. That night, I became a fan for life. “You a slave to a page in my rhyme book.” Yes, I am!
NY State of Mind
Joshua Zane Pate
Nas is as iconic as hip hop and to name a favorite is close to blasphemy! Lol! Anyway i have so many but the songs that top my list are “i gave you power”: that song is a genius narrative that embodies what the founders of hip hop intended believed our music should convey. But the one that still leaves me in awe is “rewind”!!! “rewind” is lyricism at its best. Nas took a story told it backwards and ripped it! Genius genius genius!! Nas is hip hop!!
Nas has lots of favorite joints, but one that most people skip over is “What Goes Around” (Poison). One of the illest verses and hooks to date. wow!
Our randomly selected winners are…
Kyle Castle and Evelyn Quinones
