(ATLANTA,GA – MARCH 16, 2010) On the eve of the South by Southwest Music Festival, A3C founders have announced the dates for the 2010 A3C Hip Hop Festival in Atlanta. Dates for A3C 2010 will be October 7,8, and 9.
Brian Knott, A3C Hip Hop Festival founder explains, “When we were thinking about where and when to make our announcement SXSW seemed like the perfect place. With over 100 A3C artists performing here this weekend and many of our label partners and sponsors here as well it seemed like a great time for us to kick off A3C 2010. This event is what we aspire to be for the Hip Hop community and using this as the launching pad for our 2010 installment just made sense.â€

December 4, 2009 – ATLANTA, GA – On Tuesday, December 8, 2009, Atlanta’s longest-running organic Hip-Hop show – The Beatz & Lyrics Show with Jayforce – will proudly commemorate its ten year anniversary with the release of a mixtape that captures the best of what the show has represented since its inception. The Ten Year Anniversary Beatz & Lyrics Mixtape features contributions by 40 emcees, producers and musicians who came together in less than a week to record the 12-track project.

There is something for all fans of Hip Hop music and culture at the A3C Hip Hop Festival. The annual event offers three, packed days of live Hip Hop entertainment. In its fifth year, the A3C descends on the East Atlanta Village Oct. 1 – 3.
Programs on Thursday, Oct. 1 include an URB Showcase at the 529, Beatz and Lyrics 10th Anniversary at Ice House, iStandard Producer Battle at the Graveyard and the Red Bull Music Academy at the Earl. Thursday night artists include Black Sheep, B.o.B, 9th Wonder, Collective Efforts, Da Beatminerz, Tanya Morgan and more.

Women in Hip Hop returns with an all-star lineup and an all day event for its fourth installment at the annual, 3-day A3C Hip Hop festival. Talented women representing all elements of Hip Hop culture converge on Friday, Oct. 2 at My Sisters Room in the East Atlanta Village for a full day of educational and entertaining programming.
