Kickstarter.com & Hip-Hop: Young Scolla meets SMKA [Album]

SMKA and Young Scolla are using a relatively unique platform, rarely seen in indie hip-hop, to raise money to complete their upcoming album. They have 60 days to raise $4,000, or they don’t get anything. They also hope to raise awareness for the program, and perhaps sway other indie artists to attempt the same thing, foregoing label involvement. They are offering everything from a high five ($2+) to a release party in your home town ($1,000).
